SAMREF is a very large, medium complexity refinery located in Saudi Arabia.
The refinery is owned and operated by a 50/50 JV between Saudi Aramco and ExxonMobil.
The refinery runs primarily Arab Light crude oil.
Major products include gasoline (35%), heating oil and diesel fuel (30%), marine and other fuel oil (17%), jet fuel (15%), and LPG and other (3%). The refinery also produces plant also produces propane and reformate for local petrochemical plant feed, and sulfur.
Aramco and ExxonMobil are the sole off-takers of the production.
